Karen’s research focuses on understanding the effects of genetic predisposition on brain aging using advanced neuroimaging and machine learning techniques. She is passionate about making science accessible and connecting her research to real-world applications. After her studies, Karen aims to advance precision medicine by improving neurogenetics models and exploring innovative medical imaging approaches.

Tyler’s research aims to understand why some people’s muscles start to fail after decades of normal function. He loves to engage with peers and the public in order to connect science to our everyday lives. Tyler hopes to continue solving clinically relevant problems through research as a PhD student.
